Welcome to Woodchester Lodge
An historic, Victorian timber merchant’s property; peaceful village setting; beautiful garden; car parking; spacious comfortable rooms; separate TV/dining room.
Woodchester Lodge was built in 1896. Constructed from local stone , it has large high ceilinged rooms, attractive bay windows and beautifully carved woodwork throughout. The original stained glass and old cast iron fireplaces, with tiles, remain.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, traditionally furnished and decorated to a high standard. There is a large guest living/dining room, that overlooks the garden, with open fire. Breakfast and dinner are served here, cooked by a qualified chef.
Set in a peaceful Cotswold village, surrounded by hills, valleys and commons, the area is ideal for walking, golfing, cycling and riding. Local villages offer shops, pubs and restaurants, but Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and London are readily accessible.
